Website design and local SEO in Texas I work Texas from Erin, Ontario. One firm per trade, per market.

Website design and local SEO in Texas, for trades, auto parts and auto service shops. I build the site, rebuild the Google profile for the map, and put a desk behind the phone for the calls you cannot take. There is no office in Houston and I am not going to invent one.

01 The ground

Texas, as the map sees it.

Texas is too big to be one market. Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin are each a region of their own, and each is built out of suburbs that people search by name. El Paso sits alone at the far western tip, a long day’s drive from any of them.

In the big Texas metros the map is decided a suburb at a time: a search in Katy is unlikely to return the same names as a search in Pasadena, and Plano is not Arlington. Distance does a lot of the sorting, so a shop wins the ground around its own door first.

02 Who I build for in Texas

Three kinds of shop. One of each, per market.

01

Trades

Local SEO for trades businesses. Where most land: The Foundation.

02

Auto Parts and Recyclers

Websites and local SEO for auto parts and recycling yards. Where most land: The Read, then The Storefront.

03

Auto Service and Collision

Local SEO for auto repair and collision shops. Where most land: The Foundation.

The work is the same three steps in every state, in order, and they are set out on how it works.

03 The build I can show you

It is in Ontario. I am not going to invent a Texas one.

An auto parts business in Brampton whose site was a phone number and an address now runs a part matcher on year, make, model and trim, a page for each vehicle it stocks for, and a request that reaches the counter by text already carrying everything needed to quote it.

That build and the others are on the website design portfolio, each described as what was built.

04 My clock and yours

Central time, an hour behind me. El Paso is two.

Nearly all of Texas runs on Central time, an hour behind me. El Paso is on Mountain time, two hours behind.

If a call from 647-242-5800 reached your counter, that was me. It is a Toronto-area number, and I am in Erin, Ontario. One operator, no call center.

05 Questions from Texas

Answered plainly.

Do you have an office in Texas? +
No. I am one operator in Erin, Ontario, and I am not going to invent an address in Houston. The profile work is done on the Google profile you already hold, a site is built and launched from here, and the desk answers wherever your phone rings. None of it improves by being done from inside your city.
What clock do you work on for Texas? +
Nearly all of Texas runs on Central time, an hour behind me. El Paso is on Mountain time, two hours behind. I work Eastern hours, and I book the nine minutes around your day, not mine.

What one firm per market means, how American businesses are priced, and the states I do not work are all on the coverage page.
